Peppermint
Digestion is at the root of so much in our health—especially our hormones. When digestion is off, everything feels off. Luckily, herbs can offer gentle but effective support.
Here are a few of my favorite herbs for soothing digestive discomfort:
Peppermint – Calms spasms in the gut and helps ease bloating and gas. Also uplifts the mood and refreshes the mind.
Fennel – A classic carminative herb that relieves gas and bloating. Slightly sweet and great for after meals.
Chamomile – Soothes the gut lining and calms the nervous system. Wonderful if your digestion is stress-related.
Ginger – Warms the digestion and helps with nausea, bloating, and sluggishness.
Try mixing a few of these together for a comforting after-dinner tea. I like a blend of fennel, peppermint, and chamomile for a gentle digestive reset.
